Postgres is one of the most mature and established relational DBMS, and it well deserves its first place in popularity among open-source DBMS. As a developer of ClickHouse - the most popular analytical DBMS, I will compare and show the difference between Postgres and ClickHouse in the areas such as: extensibility of the query language and data types, continuous integration and testing, community and contributions process, user-experience and out of the box integrations, ease of installation, as well as some low-level concepts around data storage and the query engine. I would like to cover both Postgres and its popular plugins.
